Andi Izdihar was fastest throughout practice in the Shell Advance Asia Talent Cup, at the Chang International Circuit in Thailand.
The Shell Advance Asia Talent Cup officially started this morning at the Chang International Circuit in Buriram (Thailand), with the two practice sessions ahead of the first points-scoring race, which forms part of the second round of the FIM WorldSBK Championship.
The Indonesian rider, Andi Izdihar, has confirmed the good pace shown during preseason testing in Sepang and ended first after the two free practice session today, setting his best time of 1’49.508 in the second session. The first session saw Thailand’s Somkiat Chantra on top with a 1’51.597, with Andi Izdihar and Gerry Salim behind.
The second saw Chantra second to Azdihar with Ai Ogura, from Japan, third.
Both sessions were run on a dry track.
The single qualifying session takes place at 10am (GMT + 7) on Saturday, with the first race, which consists of 16 laps of the 4.554 km track, scheduled for 12:00 local time
