The application period is now over, with hundreds of potential riders signing up for a chance to join the grid
Applications for the 2025 Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup have now closed, with 400 riders from across Asia and Oceania registering for their chance to get a coveted spot on the Road to MotoGP™. This year’s registration period ran from the 14th of June to the 14th of July, with potential ATC riders heading to www.asiatalentcup.com to apply for the chance to be invited to the Selection Event.
This year saw a diverse pool of applications from nearly 20 different countries. With a stunning total of 400 applications received, the competition is set to be fierce in 2025. These applications will now be reviewed by our expert panel, who will select the riders invited to participate in the Selection Event at Sepang International Circuit on the 29th and 30th of October 2024.
The list of riders invited to the Selection Event will be announced on the 23rd of August 2024 at www.asiatalentcup.com.
At the Selection Event, the prospective ATC riders will undergo rigorous testing to assess both their riding abilities and their off-track mindset. The final decision on who will join the 2025 ATC grid will then be made, and those selected riders will embark on a winter program of preparation to get ready to race.
