24 October 2015

Dunlop will become the tyre supplier for the Shell Advance Asia Talent Cup from 2016 onwards.

Dunlop Motorsport and Dorna Sports have signed a contract for the exclusive supply of tyres to the Shell Advance Asia Talent Cup, a deal which will run during the 2016 season.

Dunlop will supply next season’s tyres and offer technical support to the Shell Advance Asia Talent Cup, extending their agreement with Dorna from which Dunlop already supplies tyres to both the Moto2™ and Moto3™ World Championships.

Each year Dunlop have improved their tyres in both classes and offered world-class support. Both Dunlop and the Shell Advance Asia Talent Cup are pleased to reach this agreement so both parties can continue to strive for the best and grow. This will also benefit the Cup riders as both the Red Bull Rookies Cup and FIM CEV Repsol run Dunlop tyres, making a riders transition even smoother. The Asia Talent Team, which runs Shell Advance Asia Talent Cup riders, will also get additional support from Dunlop in the FIM CEV Repsol.

Kazushi Aso, International Tyre Development and Race Promotion, Dunlop: ‘We’re pleased to be a part of the Shell Advance Asia Talent Cup as the technical tire supplier.
