Khairuddin serves as mentor to Asian stars

Moto3™ star Zulfahmi Khairuddin has been enlisted as a mentor to up and coming talents set to progress through the Shell Advance Asia Talent Cup.

A highly popular character in the MotoGP™ paddock, Khairuddin is set for a busy fifth World Championship season in 2014. Not only does he begin a new adventure with the Ongetta AirAsia Racing Team, but the Malaysia is also set to take on the new role of mentor as the Shell Advance Asia Talent Cup begins in earnest.

Working at the Sepang International Circuit, Khairuddin has been teaching young riders on how to squeeze maximum power and speed from their racing machines, plus insight into riding techniques and racing lines.

The first track running for the all-new Shell Advance Asia Talent Cup will be a four-day test session at Spain’s MotorLand Aragon circuit, before the racing action begins at the Commercial Bank Grand Prix of Qatar on the penultimate weekend of March.
