Two more Accenture CHAMPS virtual workshops take place in Austria

20 August 2020

The ATC class of 2020 were joined by Öncü, Sasaki, Toba and Yamanaka to talk communication and more at the Red Bull Ring

On Monday the 17th and Wednesday the 19th of August, the class of the 2020 Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup were reunited once again as they linked up via Zoom for more Accenture CHAMPS virtual workshops focused on communication. On Monday it was the ATC riders hailing from closer timezones to Europe, and on Wednesday those in Japan, Australia and further east.

The riders were talked through a number of different points, focusing on communication once again – but with some extra interesting topics for the second workshop. The importance of data was a key talking point, as was fitness and nutrition, with Accenture speakers joined by ATC Rider Coach Diego Lozano to discuss the latter. As ever, there were also plenty of questions for the riders joining via Zoom, as well as the special guests in the room.

On Monday it was Kaito Toba (Red Bull KTM Ajo) and Ryusei Yamanaka (Estrella Galicia 0,0) on site at the Red Bull Ring to take part from the Austria side of the link up and share their experience, with Red Bull KTM Tech 3’s Deniz Öncü and Ayumu Sasaki joining for the Wednesday session.

With plenty more knowledge imparted and a couple more quizzes undertaken, it was time to say goodbye for another few weeks before the next Virtual Workshops set to take place around the Aragon and Teruel Grands Prix.
